How do I buy through Lakheni?
To buy through Lakheni you need to be part of a buying group.
- You can sign up through a creche that your child attends or a creche near you that’s on the Lakheni network
- You can sign up through your church with your congregation members
- You can sign up through your stokvel group
- If you can get together a group of 7 or more friends, you can join Lakheni
Suggest a buying group here and we will contact them.
Once you buying group is registered, you can get an order form from them and place your order. It’s that easy.
We are busy developing an ordering system that will work through your cellphone. Our mobile platform will be announced on this website and on our Facebook page.
How do I pay for my order?
You pay for your order when you collect your groceries.
We DO NOT accept cash or cheques, so you will need to pay with your bank card or your ISSASA card.
You can also deposit the cash amount due into our bank account through an FNB ATM but remember to put in your group name as reference.

Do you deliver to my door?
We deliver to a collection point that is within walking distance to where you live. When you sign up with Lakheni, you will tell us which collection point is most convenient for you.
Your buying group meeting place is the automatic (default) collection point.
I am not part of a buying group. Can I still order?
To order through Lakheni you need to be part of a buying group. You can start one with 7 or more people or you can join an existing one.
We are working on ways for individuals to join us. Keep watching this space.
Is Lakheni available in all areas of South Africa?
We currently operate in the Western Cape only. We will be looking at national operations in the future, so keep an eye out on this website and on our social media platforms.
